Gardening Hint: After the clocks go forward in spring is the time to dead head your daffodils. As the fade cut off the head (including the seed heads).  Then a feed of compost including blood, fish and bone (plenty of calcium, iron and protein). Give them six weeks of dying back and then remove the foliage.  This ensures the health of the bulb and you'll have another gorgeous show of daffs next year.
